Napkin art

a couple sites I came across devoted to napkin art.. I like the sort of low-brow, fleeting, any-old-material-will-do, communal, somewhat romantic act of drawing on napkins, and even sometimes leaving them to be discovered or discarded by the next restaurant/bar guests. There have also been plenty of drunk napkin drawings executed over time. On the other hand, I have a friend who drew out the plan for his dream house on a napkin in some bar, and, some twenty years later, realized the dream house. Anybody have any good napkin art? Any good napkin art stories??

swine flu

With the the confirmed case of Swine flu at CSULB Id like to make note of it in on Wandering Studio. Particularly since it has been said that she is an undergrad Art student.

So heres a fun image to consider while worrying about Swine flu:

and here are some links to how this our body interacts with this flu to get out of hand.

The potential of this flu is reminiscent of SARS deaths and the SPANISH FLU which took the lives of a third of the world population- the bodies immune system attacks itself.. which is why healthy 20-40 years olds are more susceptible.
Sorry this is not any sort of collaboration.. but I thought it was topical and I thought this link was informative and I wanted to share it with you.
Stay Well
